How do I create my Sideout account?
You can create your account using your email, Google account or Apple ID. Just download the app, tap "Create account" and follow the on-screen instructions. After signing up, complete your profile with a photo, bio and playing position.
I forgot my password. How do I recover it?
On the login screen, tap "Forgot my password". Enter your registered email and we'll send a reset link. Also check your spam folder. If you logged in with Google or Apple, there's no password to reset — just use social login.
How does check-in work?
Check-in is based on your real location. When you're near a registered arena or court, the check-in button will become available. Each check-in earns points that contribute to your ranking and level in the app. You need to authorize location access to use this feature.
How do I post photos and stories?
To publish a post, tap the "+" button in the navigation bar. You can add photos, videos and text. For stories, tap the camera icon at the top of the feed — stories are available for 24 hours.
How does the ranking work?
The ranking is calculated based on your check-ins at arenas and courts. The more check-ins you do at different locations, the more points you accumulate. The ranking is updated in real time and you can see your position in the "Ranking" tab of the app.
Can I delete my account?
Yes. Go to your profile, tap the settings icon (gear) and select "Delete account". This action is irreversible and all your data, posts and history will be permanently removed. You can also request deletion by email at suporte@goodstart.com.br.
How do I turn off notifications?
You can manage notifications in your device settings. On Android, go to Settings → Apps → Sideout → Notifications. On iOS, go to Settings → Notifications → Sideout.
Is the app available for iOS and Android?
Sideout is currently available for Android. The iOS version is in development and will be launched soon. Stay tuned to our social media for updates!
How do I report content or a user?
If you find inappropriate content or abusive behavior, tap the three dots (⋯) on the post or user profile and select "Report". Our team will review the report and take necessary action. You can also send details by email to suporte@goodstart.com.br.
Is my data safe?
Yes. We take your data security very seriously. We use encryption in transit and at rest, and follow LGPD guidelines. For more details, see our Privacy Policy.
